Thank you for your interest in The Bright Side Inc. During these uncertain times, we continue to safely operate as an essential business under guidance issued by Gov J.B Pritzker and the Center of Disease and Control (CDC). Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers, which provides guidance to both State and Local jurisdictions, and the Private Sector defines Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers in the Public Works Section as:

“Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences.”

The Bright Side Inc. Technicians are Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers within the CDC’s guidelines as they are critical to the provision of services for the necessary cleaning and sanitation of environmental surfaces found in residential and commercial environments

Furthermore, we understand that many of our customers have questions about our services and the steps we are taking to ensure their safety and that of our employees. Our business is actively monitoring communications from the CDC, federal agencies, and local government to ensure the we are operating according to the latest guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Below are the latest updates on what we are doing at The Bright Side Inc., to ensure your safety and to do our part in attempting to contain the spread of this illness:

1. Worker Discretion

It is important that customer’s follow CDC guidelines like social distancing and limiting contact to protect themselves and the technicians working in their homes. The Bright Side Inc. Technicians will have the authority to deny services if customers neglect to follow these guidelines and if the Technician feels that his health and safety might be in jeopardy.

2. Equipment Disinfection Protocol:

We have adopted the new protocol when disinfecting our equipment by the introduction of an EPA Antimicrobial Registered Disinfectant which also meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 and other Emerging Viral Pathogens. All cleaning equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every job to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers and to help limit the risk of transfer. This process is repeated after each workday along with the cleaning and disinfecting of our service vehicles.

3. Employee Training & Personal Protective Equipment:

We have trained our employees on maintaining appropriate social distance throughout the workday and the critical importance of personal hygiene emphasizing handwashing before, during, and after jobs. We are now implementing paperless billing to limit contact and to maintain social distancing recommendations. We also provide our employees with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) where necessary so they can perform their work safely and with confidence. 

4. Limiting Services and Typical cleaning protocol
