Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning
Did you know that the air in your home may be two to three times more polluted than the air outside? Indoor air often contains irritants that can cause or exacerbate all kinds of health problems:
- Sinus Congestion and Inflammation
- Eye Irritation
- Runny Nose
- Shortness of Breath
- Upper Respiratory Distress
Clean air ducts not only mean healthier indoor air, it can also yield big energy savings by increasing the efficiency of your heating and cooling system. Additionally, your home stays cleaner—see less dust on your surfaces and cleaner carpets too!
About Air Duct Cleaning
Every air duct cleaning job The Bright Side undertakes is different. That’s why we begin with a free estimate—often over the phone, but sometimes an in-person estimate is required, depending on the size of your home and the complexity of your system. You can, of course, request an in-home estimate if you prefer.
Our experts will walk through your home to determine the best way to access your system, what equipment is needed, and to find access points that were perhaps created by previous cleaning efforts. We’ll also check for access problems like sealed or painted-over registers, discuss special cases such as recently finished floors or painted walls, and plan to move large or fragile furniture items.
After pre-vacuuming, we use a negative air machine to create a powerful suction that pulls debris out of your ductwork. We also insert brushes and “whips” in strategic locations inside ducts to help loosen dust and dirt and make sure we remove the largest amount of debris possible.
Reduce Indoor Air Pollution
Don’t let indoor pollution be a menace in your household. Air duct cleaning can help reduce the following from your family’s air:
- Animal dander and hair
- Dust and dust mites
- Other debris
The Bright Side will also advise you on steps you can take to keep your air cleaner and safer between cleanings, such as air filter types and change schedules and information about HEPA systems.
About Dryer Vent Cleaning
Your lint trap doesn’t capture all of the fuzzy stuff your laundry produces—about half of it is deposited in your dryer vent system. This makes your dryer less efficient and over time creates a fire hazard in your home.
Keep your home safe and energy efficient with regular dryer vent cleanings. The process is similar to air vent cleaning.
